Frank The Podcast

I was so pleasantly surprised to learn of this great little podcast called Frank the Podcast! It’s a humorous, fun and honest dialogue about faith, pop culture, real life and so much more. A couple of my buddies are hosts on the show, T.J. Hill and Darin McWatters. I think you’ll really enjoy this tasty little treat and it’ll keep you laughing through your week. I laugh so hard everytime I hear these cornballs. So awesome. Leave a comment and let me know if you listen and your favorite episode or quote.

ENJOY!

Waste a Minute…

My main man Ryan Axtell comes from creative genes. He’s got music in his blood, ministry from his heart and, well, humor from his dad! The videos below are made by Ryan’s dad, Steve Axtell. He makes puppets for a living, no joke. I’m not talking the lame sock church puppets that you were annoyed by as a kid…I’m talking he’s making puppets for people like Terry Fator, Shaq and many more.

The video below is called P-P-P-Platypus and it’s ridiculous and funny. Just turn it up, call your co-workers around and don’t try to be to cool to laugh.

These are the puppets he made for Shaq and you’ll see a little side of Shaq you didn’t know he had!

This is a revisited video from Ryan teaching us how to do ‘Worship Workouts’. Same family as the puppet guy! 🙂

Hair Can Change Everything…

Well…my friends…THIS is before:

And this would be the results of Kim Cornwell hard at work on my nappy head. HAHA.

THOUGHTS?! The fact that I would ask for THOUGHTS on this subject is kind of funny. Who REALLY cares about my hair, honestly?! hahaha. I like it. It’s a good change. I think the beard is coming back in to action though. I don’t like the stubble so short.

Everything’s Amazing & Nobody’s Happy

How true this is!!! Seriously though, I’m about to go Christmas SHOPPING and I’m pretty quick to get annoyed. Hopefully this will remind me not to take myself to seriously…I HAVE RESOURCES TO GO SHOPPING….THAT’S AMAZING. Don’t be a Scrooge this Christmas Season. 🙂

Mess of Me :: Never Too Young

My friend, Andy Barron, who works with Switchfoot shot me a link today. I have to say that Promise and I haven’t laughed that hard in a while. It’s a video like this that makes me hope that one day I’ll have a little girl that’s cool, personable and loves her some music. If you haven’t heard Switchfoot‘s new record called ‘Hello Hurricane’, well, do yourself a favor and quit missing out.

The first video is of the Switchfoot music video and Andy Barron did a bunch of the footage for the video. You’ve got to watch the real music video first so that you have context. Once you’ve finished watching the real music video make sure to watch this little 6 year old girl, Kadyn, totally bring the heat on the song. SO AWESOME!!! I’d love to hear your comments too!

How to Worship…

A great 101 video on what to do when the ‘worship band’ is playing! Classic!! (HT: Ryan Guard)

Sunday Antics…

This is just a good time for all! I have nothing else to say…
